About Sierra Vista Tree Service & Owner David
At Sierra Vista Tree Service, we bring decades of hands-on experience and a passion for trees to every job in Anderson, Redding, and surrounding Northern California communities. Owner David discovered his love for tree care at a young age while visiting his grandfather’s tree farm in South Dakota. There, he learned essential skills like chainsaw use, pruning, tree spacing, and identifying compromised trees—knowledge that has shaped his professional career.
David moved to Redding in 2009 and honed his expertise working with the CCC trail crew, gaining training and certification in tree felling. In 2011, he joined Larry White at Sierra Vista Tree Service, learning advanced climbing, shaping techniques, and the philosophy of “doing the job the way you would want it done.” By 2013, David was felling timber for local logging operations across Northern California, expanding his skills in large-scale tree management.
In 2018, David took over the operations of Sierra Vista Vegetation Removal & Tree Service, continuing the company’s legacy of providing high-quality, safe, and efficient tree care throughout Northern California.
